Q: I get an error after clicking “Let’s Do This” on the order form.
A: Make sure you are using a modern browser like Chrome, Safari, or Firefox. Internet Explorer has issues with the amount of data we send through our form.
Q: How much does it cost to get a custom QR code?
A: Custom QR codes start at $35 and are $99 at the most. You can check out the order form to see exact pricing.
Q: What makes you different from the other custom QR code providers?
A: There’s a reason top mobile pioneers are calling us an industry leader! For starters, we have an unbeatable price structure that offers clients custom QR codes for as little as $20 a piece! We’re also the only custom QR code service that allows you to directly enter you order through our site, making for a no pressure ordering environment and eliminating the hassle of requesting a quote.
Q: How big can my custom QR code be?
A: The short answer: As big as you want. The long answer: It depends heavily on the size, quality, and format of the image that you provide us to integrate into your code and the size, quality, and format of any QR code you might submit to us for use. We prefer if you upload an .ai or .eps of your HQ image/logo and we generally like to use codes that we generate or that are generated by one of our partner sites.
Q: What file types will you accept for my logo/image?
A: We accept .ai, .eps, .png, .jpg, .tiff, and .psd files.
Q: Can you really scan these custom codes? How is it possible?
A: Yes you can scan them with almost every QR code scanner available. We can generally alter up to %30 percent of the original code before it becomes unusable. We also put each custom code through a thorough test that includes scanning with the top 10 iPhone, Android, and Blackberry scanner apps.
Ability to scan a custom QR code can also vary greatly based on lighting conditions, background color, and code size. In general you should produce QR codes no smaller then 1×1 inch and do your best to place QR codes in well lit areas on a white background.
Q: How many revisions can I get?
A: You can request up to 2 revisions at no cost. We may ask you to pay $10 for each additional revision beyond the initial 2.
Q: How long does it take to get my custom QR code?
A: The normal expected turnaround time is 5-7 days. We do however offer a 2 to 3 day delivery option for $10, a 24 hour delivery option for $25, and a 1 hour rush delivery for $50. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you’re not sure which delivery option to choose or if you’re worried about getting your code by a certain date/time.
Q: What’s the difference between Complete Customs and Stylized Customs?
A: Within the showcase, you can see that the bulk of the codes are divided into two sections: Completely Custom and Styled Custom codes. The Completely Custom codes often exhibit design elements that would call for a bit of advance design: masking an image (or logo) within the code it’s (or having the image/logo protrude from the code itself); Placing a customized shape (or logo) with the corners of the code to more assert the branding; expanding the shape of the code to exhibit a shape other than the standard QR code square; tilting the code at a 45 degree angle; and the utilization of a style effect that beyond what we typically offer for the stylized codes.
The Styled Customs are nearly just that: QR codes designed on the basis of the number of styles chosen from the order form. They also are allotted any amount of customization in terms of color scheme, but that’s about as far is it goes in terms of unrestricted design work. These are best exhibited in the showcase as you’ll probably start to notice the specific styles be relied upon on each design.
The Basic Custom code are an essential step down from stylized codes. They include logo embedding and a custom color scheme, however they do not deviate from the square body square corner styles and do not attempt any of the advanced effects seen in the completely custom side of things. This is your overall most simplistic approach to customizing a QR code.
Also, the not-so-design differences include: completely customs have an automatic 24hr turnaround included in the cost, stylized customs are set at 5-7 day turnaround time unless upgraded and a vector .eps is automatically covered with completely customs, retail stylized customs require a 10.00 charge to be accommodated before the fully editable vector can be supplied (note that all resellers have this fee waived and can receive .eps vector files regardless of their order contents).
Q: How big can my logo be in the QR Code?
A: It depends on the shape of your logo and the amount of data in your QR code. Shorter URLs will allow for a larger logo in the center.
Q: Is QRStuff.com a branch of QRlicious?
A: No, QRstuff is one of our partners. They offer the industry’s best QR code generation and analytics.
Q: What file type and size will my final files be delivered in?
A: All final files are delivered at 300ppi and as JPG by default unless you order a Vector EPS file or a complete custom QR code.
Q: Can I get a quick overview of the reseller program?
A: The Reseller program is primarily a white label program so we’d be your supplier and you’d be the store front essentially. With that, pricing schemes, product packages, advertisements, and so on are all up to you. On our end, we provide materials to get you started (or out of a jam) through our reseller back-end and also, of course, offer discounted rates for your membership with us.
